PASTORAL
COUNCIL
The
Pastoral Council is a
diverse 16 member group representing all aspects of parish life
to provide the pastor and the council with ideas, opinions and
advice on how to plan and act to make Queen of Heaven the best
parish we can be for our Queen of Heaven family. Pastoral
Councils are mandated by Vatican II, Canon law and the Diocese
of Camden guidelines. Pastoral Council elections for new members
will be held in May-June 2004 with announcements to be made well
in advance to allow all interested parishioners time to seek
election.

FINANCE
COUNCIL
The
Finance Council is a group
of 8 members with experience in finance, accounting, and
business or nonprofit management to provide the pastor,
staff, school and parish ministry, support and fund
raiser groups with financial
input such as planning and budgeting tools, financial reports
and controls, advice and systems to ensure the short term
and long term financial
health of the parish for our Queen of Heaven family.
Finance
Councils are mandated by Vatican II, Canon law and the
Diocese of Camden
guidelines. Finance Council members are appointed by
the pastor based on special expertise and experience.

SCHOOL
BOARD
The
purpose of the School
Board is to act in an advisory capacity to
the pastor and principal in matters of general policy
recommendations including school budget and tuition
implementation, operation and maintenance of the school plant,
safety and privacy of students, and the school's relationship to
parish, community, local public schools, cultural groups and
other educational programs.
